To get there, we’ve built a state-of-the-art indoor growing system including the most integrated software on the market, durable hardware, and unmatched customer service.
We partner with organizations and entrepreneurs using indoor growing to bolster food security and resilience by empowering geographically distributed growing centers. The Canobi Grow System helps farmers bring fresh food to megacities, as well as some of the harshest growing environments in the world - from African deserts to Middle Eastern cities, and from island economies to the Canadian Arctic.
The Canobi Grow System uses 80% less water and less energy than conventional agriculture.
Our integrated system includes business tools that enable efficiencies that make indoor growing a fantastic investment opportunity.
The flexible Canobi Grow System can be used to grow countless varieties of produce to meet local needs and capitalize on niche, high-value market opportunities.
Robin Vincent, the founder of Canobi, began his career in hardware diagnostics, electrical engineering, and large-scale IT, eventually advancing to become an infrastructure architect. While working semi-commercially in the aquarium industry, Robin faced a challenge that would shape his future endeavors: high mortality rates among seahorses caused by transplant shock as they transitioned from ocean habitats to home systems. Driven to find a solution, he developed advanced monitoring and automation software to precisely replicate saltwater environments, dramatically improving survival rates.
Building on this success, Robin turned his attention in 2014 to the challenges faced by indoor growers. He saw an opportunity to apply similar principles to farming, creating solutions that enabled consistent monitoring and dosing of crops.
What began as a mission to solve a specific problem has since evolved into Canobi’s industry-leading, all-in-one farm management platform, transforming indoor agriculture worldwide.
